course is designed to give qualified massage therapists the knowledge,
confidence and awareness to work with pregnant clients.
It also provides instructions for massage in labour and for instructing
couples on labour massage strokes. |

course will also touch on massage techniques after birth. |

the Theory and Clinical Application of:

basic overview of anatomy and physiology in pregnancy
- Advice
and guidance on contraindications
- Oils
used during pregnancy.
- Different
positions for massaging pregnant clients
- Massage
techniques to help relieve common ailments experienced in pregnancy
- Advice
on presenting labour massage to pregnant clients and their birthing
partner
