This course in Indian Head Massage teaches the popular Western approach. It is taught alongside with the more traditional and genuine Ayurvedic Head Massage as practised in India in the same course!

• Students must hold an accredited and approved diploma in Anatomy and Physiology & Business Theory
• A final multiple choice paper
• A practical examination lasting 30 minutes.
• 3 completed case studies (3 treatments each)

Following successful completion, our students have progressed to go on and:

• Offer Indian Head Massage / Chair Massage to employees in the workplace.
  
• Offer Indian Head massage as an additional service to existing and new patients.
• Work on clients who feel more comfortable with clothing on
  
• Develop their own clinics as well as treat and consult a wider range of clients.
• Develop their Continual Professional Development (CPD) portfolio
• Study further courses such as Sports Massage, Lymphatic Massage
  Soft Tissue Release & Muscle Energy Technique or Deep Tissue Massage course

The INTERNATIONAL THERAPY EXAMINATION COUNCIL (I.T.E.C) is an awarding body offering vocational qualifications in Complementary Therapy and Bodywork. ITEC is recognised and regulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), and the Department of Education and Employment. ITEC is an independent examining body that offers impartiality and objectivity in its examinations.

ITEC is recognised by insurance companies for professional liability insurance.

Successful completion of this diploma course will provide you with the title of "Indian Head Massage Therapist", and the knowledge and techniques needed to give a treatment.

Practitioner insurance is also available upon successful completion of the course.
